Cash App: Brand Convergence

2023

In 2022, Block acquired Afterpay for $29B, bringing all of it’s customers and merchants into the Block ecosystem - more specifically, the Cash App ecosystem.

Within the next 2 years, there was a much larger focus on bringing the Afterpay and Cash App brands together. The Seller Experience design team was given the task of creating the vision for a new experience, where merchants sign up under one brand with multiple payment options that fit their business needs.
